Master Gardener or bust!

Today I enrolled in a Master Gardener Volunteer course.  You can find more information here:  Basically I have 50 hours of classroom training and 50 hours of volunteering in the next year after the course finishes.  When I complete that I can call myself a Master Gardener Volunteer.

Why am I doing this?  I simply love to garden and I love sharing that enthusiasm!  If it helps, when I think about the places I’d like to live their growing season is one of my primary concerns.  Gardening is one of the few hobbies that has stuck with me over the years. I have tried many things in my life but the ones that stay with me are reading, writing, gardening, and video games.  I’ll be using this blog to talk about all of those, but I will try to stick to the Master Gardening theme in this post.
